Local 75 triumphs over Unifor in 2018 Royal York Labour Board case

On March 9, 2021, the Labour Board overwhelmingly dismissed Unifor’s 2018 charges filed over the Fairmont Royal York.

This means the June 2018 ratification of the Local 75 Collective Agreement at the Fairmont Royal York stands, the September displacement vote is thrown out, and our Union is secure!

Our future remains secure when we stick together.

The Fight for CEWS Continues

After the Royal York and Chelsea abruptly ended their participation in the CEWS program to bring back laid off workers, leaving only the Sheraton using the program this way, Local 75 turned up the heat.
