Unifor 2021 Wage Freeze CBAs

Below are copies of different agreements settled and signed by Unifor 112 at various hotels in the GTA this year. As a reminder, in 2021, Local 75 members at the Royal York received 2 raises: 1.5% in May and another 2% in November.

At Local 75 we won’t accept agreements that leave workers behind in the recovery. As inflation rises and business returns, we will be fighting for wages and benefits that move us forward, not backward.

Courtyard by Marriott (Click to see whole agreement)

  • one raise of 1% – not until February 2023
  • forfeit right of all members to claim severance
  • forfeit all employer contributions to union funds and to TTC (vs. Local 75 moved TTC contributions into Pension)
  • 8 months pharmacy coverage, NO extended dental during pandemic (vs. 18 months w/ Local 75)

Hyatt Regency (Click to see whole agreement)

  • No raises 2021 & 2022, one 2 % raise in 2023
  • NO extended pharmacy or dental coverage during pandemic (vs 18 months w/ Local 75)
  • forfeit right of all members to claim severance

Delta Hotel by Marriot Toronto Airport (Click here to see whole agreement)

  • No raises 2021 & 2022, two 1% raises in 2023
  • Some pharmacy coverage in 2021, NO extended pandemic dental coverage
  • forfeit right of all members to claim severance
